ACTIVITIES:

Game viewing – Self drive in your own 4x4 vehicle
A guided game drive for two hours in the vehicle of Loodswaai’s
Hunting - Hunts can be arranged via Gus.
Loodswaai has its own set of hunting rules, make sure you get a copy.
A wide variety species is available for biltong as well as trophy hunting.
Slaughter and cooling facilities are available and of a very high quality.
Bird watching - A real paradise. Wide variety of species
Walking – Walking by oneself is only permitted in the Jagkamp because of dangerous animals on Loodswaai.
In the Jagkamp are no Buffalo and no Rhino’s. There you can enjoy yourself on your own, setting your own time and pace.
Walking is permitted on Loodwaai with only by appointment and with an armed guide.
Fishing - Fishing is done for pleasure although no guarantees are given for what you might catch.

Guests who want to experience the African bush, without sacrificing the comforts provided by electricity, should stay in the lodge. The cool thatched complex offers four spacious double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Two large lounges are situated on either side of a the kitchen.

During rare cold spells in winter months, burning logs in ample fireplaces warms both lounges.

If you don’t feel like self catering spoil yourself and get Loodswaai to cater for you.

DAM CHALET

The Dam Chalet sits snugly on the edge of a large dam.

It is self-catering and houses up to six people. Gas appliances ensure that guests still have a pleasant stay.

The Dam Chalet provides intimate, romantic accommodation for those who want to experience the African bush from a different angle. It is a birdwatcher's paradise.

Meals can either be prepared in the Dam Chalet's kitchen, or the braai area outside.

The complex has two bedrooms, a flushable toilet, bathroom and a large lounge/dinning room area.

VELD CHALET

THE ULTIMATE BUSH EXPERIENCE:

Experience a real African bush breakaway in the tranquil bush resort.

This is the ideal way of getting away from it all, as telephones and television are outlawed! Here you can experience the night sounds of the bush as you unwind in front of a crackling camp-fire.

The veld chalet consists of 7 rooms, which sleeps 21 people.

The ablution block with its showers and toilets is within easy reach of all the rooms.

A thatched enclosure ensures respite from the harsh South African sun and of the occasional rainfall.

The self catering bush has a kitchenette with a fridge, basin and all the necessary cutlery and crockery.

Cooking is done on an open fire to enhance the feel of Africa.
